Ripyl runs a series of FREE competitions for schools, based on curriculum-aligned business, entrepreneurship, and innovation challenges. Each challenge invites student teams to solve a real-world problem, develop a solution, and pitch their ideas to external judges.

Designed to be relatable, engaging, and authentic, Ripyl project-based challenges are built around real-world themes students connect with. Students experience what it’s like to think and act like entrepreneurs, working in teams to develop:

  • collaboration, problem-solving, critical thinking

  • creativity, decision-making, communication, and pitching skills

  • Strong focus on applying curriculum knowledge to real scenarios

Participation in Ripyl challenges is completely free for schools.  Teachers run the challenge in their own classrooms using a ready-to-use slide deck, Teacher notes, judging criteria, tips and ongoing support from the Ripyl Team.  No extra planning is required – challenges can be plugged directly into existing programmes or used as an extension/enrichment activity.

Pitches are evaluated by a panel of external judges (industry, universities, partners):

  • Top 3 student teams receive prizes

  • Top teacher receives a prize

  • Top school receives Ripyl subscriptions for one year

This creates strong motivation, recognition, and celebration across the school community.
