Description: Students will explore five relatable financial scenarios that reflect common decisions faced in everyday decision-making, reviewing a set of options for each, selecting the most appropriate one, and explaining the reasoning behind their choice.
Through this activity, students will build financial literacy skills by practising decision making, evaluating alternatives, and considering the short- and long-term impacts of their financial choices. After working through each scenario individually, students will pair up to discuss their decisions and hear different perspectives, followed by a whole-class discussion to highlight key ideas, clarify concepts, and connect the scenarios to real-life financial situations.
