Description: Students will work in pairs to analyse and allocate investments, research different investment options in teams, and justify their choices though a presentation in the form of a pitch.
This activity helps students become more familiar with key investment terms and concepts such risk, reward, and diversification. Students will complete a cost benefit analysis to evaluate various assets like stocks, bonds, property, and savings accounts, and present their finding to the class. Additionally, they can complete an extension activity where they individually research and write a report on evaluating investments.
