Description:Students will explore core business concepts by designing a holiday-themed decoration with real customer appeal. After brainstorming and selecting their best idea, they will create a sketch, plan materials, calculate costs, and set a selling price that reflects the value of their creation and the needs of potential customers.
Each team then shares their design with the class, explaining materials, costs, pricing, and potential profit. This is an opportunity for feedback and reflection on ways to improve their product. Optional extensions include students making the decoration, calculating profit for multiple units, or creating a flyer or social media post, giving a hands-on entrepreneurial experience.
