Think it! Make it! Market it!

4-Part Project – Topics: Solution Ideation, Stakeholders, Costs, Budgeting

Description: Students work in teams using the 4Ps to develop and market a product of their choice, relating to a challenge they are familiar with. Teams will step into the role of entrepreneurs to develop a new idea that solves a real-world problem (this could be a product, service, or experience).

The real-world problems include: needing to feel safe walking at night, making hobbies & interests more creative, helping ensure mental health & wellbeing are top priorities for everyone, helping teenagers feel confident & empowered, and designing a way for young people to lead the way in shaping the future.

Teams will develop a marketing strategy using the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion), calculate cost of goods sold (COGS), and think about their pricing decisions. Students will design promotional materials and explore the best ways to reach their target market. Working in teams, they will build creativity, strengthen communication, and practise their presentation skills as they prepare to pitch their ideas.

What You Get:

  • Teacher Notes

  • Presentation Slides

  • Student Boards (worksheets) for each part (product, pricing, place, promotion)
